Please welcome Carrie Miller, a dedicated and influential leader in the nonprofit sector with an impressive track record spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Executive Director at HFLA of Northeast Ohio, Carrie has been instrumental in driving the organization's mission forward since March 2023. Her tenure includes acting as the Executive Director, where she played a pivotal role in shaping strategies and guiding the organization through significant growth phases.

Before her impactful work at HFLA, Carrie enriched Ohio City Incorporated as the Director of Neighborhood Services, where she dedicated four years to enhancing community engagement and services in Cleveland. Her strategic vision and leadership were also evident during her time at the Foundation Center, where she excelled as Manager of Capacity & Leadership Development and as a Regional Training Specialist. Here, Carrie focused on strengthening the nonprofit community across the Midwest through high-quality training programs and expanding the Foundation Center's influence.

Carrie's career also boasts a significant tenure as the Program Director at The City Club of Cleveland. In this role, she orchestrated local and regional programs that sparked important community discussions on various topics, showcasing her ability to connect people and ideas. Her operations expertise was not just limited to program execution but also extended to strategic marketing and communications efforts, enhancing the City Club's reach and engagement.

Her early experiences include serving as the Director of External Affairs for City Year in Louisiana, where she led recruitment and community outreach initiatives, demonstrating her skill in building bridges between organizations and the communities they serve.
