As a community leader in service, we have a responsibility to address the inequities of our communities by standing in the gap, as it pertains to the lack of financial education and the digital divide. We empower communities through financial education, assistance, and literacy, fostering enduring financial well-being.
Since 2002, The Phe ’be Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, has been fulfilling its mission “to enhance the financial literacy of the population through assistance in goal setting, goal attainment, and education to sustain the goals that have been established.”
Throughout Northeast Ohio’s Region, The Phe ’be Foundation promotes equitable financial literacy among low to moderate-income households by providing a myriad of educational programs and counseling services focused on financial stability.

Sharron Murphy Williams
Founder / Director
Sharron Murphy-Williams is the founder and executive director of The Phe’be Foundation. She has over 25 years of experience in the credit/debt management and homebuyer education industries. She began her career with Dun & Bradstreet prior to becoming an independent credit counseling specialist.

She has implemented and developed innovative programs that enhance
housing and economic empowerment opportunities, some of which have proven to be models for Cleveland-area banking institutions, curriculums, and agencies.

Murphy-Williams has been featured in Essence Magazine, Ebony, and on BET as well, recognized by Kaleidoscope Magazine, The Plain Dealer, Call & Post, Cleveland Board of Education, The City of Cleveland, and others for the work she has done as it pertains to financial empowerment.
In addition to serving as leader of The Phe’be Foundation, Murphy-Williams gives back to her community by serving as a member of several civic and professional organizations including The National Association of Female Executives, Cleveland Metropolitan Schools, Department of Aging, Rotary International, United Black Fund (UBF), Founding Member of Society of Urban Professional (S.O.U.P.) and the Predatory Lending Task Force.
